Psychometric tests enable a recruiter or employer to check your suitability for a particular position. Tests can be undertaken on a computer, via the Internet or using traditional pen and paper. A psychometric test can give the recruiter / employer a wealth of information about your personality, your interaction with other people and ultimately your suitability for the position.You should always answer the questions completely honestly. Don't try and second guess what the employer is looking for - you may be completely wide of the mark and rule yourself out of the running. Many tests will also check the honesty and integrity of the participant and will inform an employer if they think you have lied. People often find psychometric tests a little bit daunting. But you don't really have anything to worry about as there are no wrong or right answers.
